Resurgere is a group that shares the stock images of it's Team Members and Guest Contributors at Deviant Art. It's focus is on producing stock which is unique and of high quality. The stock is distributed under Resurgere's Terms of Use in convenient Packages, and is freely given for the noncommercial use of all artists. "Honestly I find it hard to write about Resurgere – a sense of awe overtakes me when I consider how this mighty institution grew from the humblest beginnings. I am amazed that tended with dedication and passion by a team of artists, and supported by the entire D.A. community, a tiny seedling could become a tree of such height with branches of such breadth. Standing as quiet monument to the possibilities of good intentions and community love, I take sincere pride of this accomplishment and this example we've set.

And the fruit that falls from those branches, the stock itself? A immense bounty with a range of flavors the like of which is almost impossible to find anywhere else. All of which is given gladly, respected and used by thousands of artists from every corner of the world. Our stock is doing it's small part to help all those artists to achieve their creative goals, improving their creations. I do not feel it is an overstatement to say in places Resurgere has visibly changed the very landscape of the artwork at D.A..

Ever since the first day I had stock I've always shared the best of it through Resurgere. I feel strongly that offering a supportive hand to the artist in this community is important, because I clearly recall the generosity others had extended to me when I was young and in need of stock. That drive to render aid is the seed idea, the source of Resurgere and at the end of the day it's the one thing that has not changed.

One of Resurgere's Curators was recently interviewed by `FantasyStock for the news article 20 Questions with Resurgere, which covers discussion of the group and other stock topics at length and will prove interesting to people wanting to learn more about Resurgere.

In January 2004 Resurgere converted from a personal account into a group account, and has benefited immensely from this structure. Now, unlike the majority of stock accounts at D.A. which are run by individuals, Resurgere is run by a team of artists. Check out the Roster for a list of Resurgere's team members.

The Team is central to all that Resurgere has accomplished, the constant progress in innovation and quality, the depth and scale of the Collection, the diversity of concepts put forward through our stock, and the fan support all these things have won.

In July 2007 Resurgere launched a new policy of distributing stock from nonmember guest contributors. You can read an announcement detailing the effect of this change here. This is a major turn of course for Resurgere and we hope will be a hugely positive change not only for the group for the the Resource section as a whole.

Any artist who plans on making use of Resurgere stock should study the Terms of Use, the general license we release our stock under, which outlines all ours guidelines concerning stock usage. As these rules are binding to any stock user, it is clearly in your interest to carefully read them.
