That mirrored wood thing on your cover is sweeeet! Looks like the most awesome mythical/evil bad helmet ever devised. Beats out the Lord of the Rings Sauron helmet by a mile ;) Thanks for the stock.

Anything beats Sauron's helmet, was such a let down. But did you see some of the concepts for it that they did not use? Some of the ideas rocked so hard it hurt, really sweet neck designs and an over all more snakelike look... But in the end they went with that stupid dead horse design for some reason. :shakefist:

Thanks for the comment ;)

Really, I hadn't heard of that. Was it in the extended edition or something? Maybe I'm just not dissapointed in it yet cause I haven't seen the alternatives. But you're right, snakelike would more fit the theme. As if horses were the paragon of evil, heh.

Yes the concepts where in the extended dvd :nods: Check them out sometime. Many of the alternatives where so fantastically designed I could not believe they discarded them.

I have the ExVer (4 disc) for the first one, was it in there or another one?

Yes, 4 disc set for FotR. The designs are on The Appendices Part One disc, Designing and Building Middle-Earth section, Design Galleries subsection, Peoples of Middle-Earth subsection, The Enemy subsection, Sauron subsection. ;)

On page five, middle row, right side, there is a very simple sketch that I think was my favorite. Page one had some good stuff also though.

Sweet, I just looked it up, there are some tight designs in there as you say. I especially like the one that looks like it has oxen horns, looks a little like the fire elemental's horns from the end of the movie, page 5, middle bottom. Thanx for the info :meditate:

I think this was my best package so far, imo anyhow...

Nothing new for awhile though, this package and the last one did not do so well, I will let you and the Contributors tow the line for awhile...
